Gantry

All your 3D printers in one window.

Gantry shows print progress, temperatures, filament and camera feeds for every printer you own. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux.

01Overview

02An evening in the workshop

The same evening. Two ways.

Five printers and several prints at once. On the left you check everything yourself; on the right Gantry tells you.

without Gantry
  1. You open the maker’s app to see the X1.
  2. A second browser tab: the Klipper panel for the Voron.
  3. You walk to the workshop to see if the P1S is done. Not yet.
  4. The X2D starts printing “spaghetti”. Nobody is watching.
  5. You notice. 28 minutes of printing into thin air.
  6. The cost of the print? Off to a spreadsheet.
You check yourselfseparate apps, tabs and walks to the printer
with Gantry
  1. Menu bar: X1 66% · P2S 62% · MINI 60%. One window for the whole fleet.
  2. Bambu, Klipper and Prusa in the same view.
  3. Notification: “P1S · print finished”.
  4. Gantry Vision: X2D — possible “spaghetti”. The frame comes with the notification.
  5. You pause the X2D from your phone, through Telegram.
  6. History: time, filament, power and cost of every print.

Print control

Skip a failed object and the rest keeps printing.

06For bigger workshops

Gantry grows with your workshop.

As your printer count grows, tools for the whole fleet come in handy. You turn most of them on separately, when you need them.

Farm

One file, several printers.

A file library by printer family, AMS material matching and “Check selection” before starting. The queue starts the next copy only after you confirm an empty bed.

Documentation

Maintenance & service

Fleet service without a notebook.

An “In service” status, tasks with checklists by print hours or days, problems with a photo and priority, and a parts inventory with minimum stock.

Documentation

Web dashboard

Your fleet in a browser, even away from home.

On your local network there’s a read-only preview. On your own PHP and HTTPS hosting, Gantry prepares a site package that also works outside your Wi-Fi.

Documentation

LITE mode

Just the status, nothing more.

When you only need progress in the menu bar or tray, LITE hides the other tools. Your printers, history and stock stay saved.

07Colours and filaments

File colours go where the spools are.

The Farm matches the filaments in a sliced file to what is actually loaded — by material and colour. No moving spools around, no slicing the file again.

Bambu Lab · AMS

Slots matched at start

Gantry works out which AMS slot prints which colour and sends that with the start command.

G-code · multi-tool

Tools rewritten in a copy of the file

On multi-tool G-code printers Gantry changes T0, T1, T2… in a working copy of the file, so each colour lands on the right toolhead.

When a colour has nowhere to go, Gantry doesn’t guess — the pre-send check shows what’s missing.

08Gantry Vision

Gantry Vision watches the print when you don't.

While you print, it watches the camera feed and flags a suspected problem, such as “spaghetti” or a detached model. The analysis runs on your computer.

X1 · watching

ok94%

spaghetti4%

detached2%

Example. Classes of the default Gantry Vision Fast model: ok, spaghetti and detached.
  • It stays on your computer. Image analysis and the photo archive run locally. The Gantry Vision Fast model ships with the app.
  • It shows what it saw. A notification can include the exact frame that triggered the alert.
  • It records the stages of a print. Photos of the first layer, 25%, 50%, 75% and the end go to an archive you can export as a ZIP.
  • You make the call. An alert is a reason to check the printer, not a verdict. Only your confirmation creates an issue with a photo in Maintenance & service.

It needs a camera and good lighting — a dark or blocked image can't be judged reliably. Turn it on in Settings → Advanced. You can also choose your own ONNX model. How to turn on Gantry Vision

09Costs

Know what every print cost.

Gantry counts filament and electricity, and with a Tasmota or Shelly plug it measures power draw while you print. See how it adds up in an example.

12Compatibility

Gantry supports six printer families.

Five features across six FDM printer families, plus a status view for selected resin printers. Some features must first be turned on in the printer, e.g. LAN-only on Bambu Lab. Code as of 21 October 2026.

What do you need to connect?
Bambu Lab
IP address, serial number and access code. For control, turn on LAN-only and Developer Mode on the printer; for the camera, LAN camera view. Uploading a file does not start a print.
Klipper
Moonraker address, port and an API key if used. The camera needs a configured source; pause and resume need the matching macros.
Elegoo
Pick the exact Centauri generation. CC2 needs LAN-only mode and an access code; CC1 uses local SDCP.
Anycubic Kobra S1
Turn on LAN mode and enter the IP. The camera needs a local stream and the decoder bundled with the app.
Prusa
IP address and PrusaLink API key. Pause, stop and file upload work through PrusaLink; add a camera as a separate JPEG/MJPEG address.
Snapmaker 2.0 / Artisan
IP address and approval on the printer’s screen. The integration shows status and temperatures; add a camera as a separate JPEG/MJPEG address.
Resin printers (SLA / MSLA)
Experimental view of status, file, layers and time: Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra, Saturn 3 Ultra, Mars 5 Ultra and Mars 4 Ultra, Anycubic Photon Mono X 6K, Photon P1 and P1 Max, Prusa SL1 and SL1S SPEED, Formlabs Form 3 and Form 4 via PreForm Server, and Phrozen via an OctoPrint bridge. No control or file upload.

13Privacy

Your data stays on your network.

Core monitoring runs directly between your computer and your printers. No Gantry account and no relay server.

It talks straight to the printer

Gantry connects to devices on your LAN. You don't need the cloud for everyday monitoring.

Your system protects access codes

Access codes live in the macOS Keychain, Windows DPAPI or Linux Secret Service.

The code is open

MIT licence. The code is there to read, build and extend.

More about security
  • The printer's certificate is remembered. For TLS connections, the printer's certificate is pinned after the first trusted connection.
  • Printers are found automatically. Bambu printers are found via SSDP and a subnet scan; for Tailscale you can add your own range.
  • Updates are verified. The package is verified by code signature on macOS and by SHA-256 checksum on Windows.

14FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Gantry for?

It's a monitor for your 3D printing workshop. It shows printer status, progress, temperatures, filaments and available camera feeds. You still prepare models in your slicer.

Do I need the cloud or an account?

Core monitoring needs no Gantry account and no relay server. Printers connect to the app over your local network. Telegram is optional.

Which printers can I connect?

Bambu Lab, Klipper / Moonraker, PrusaLink and selected Elegoo, Anycubic and Snapmaker models. Resin printers get an experimental status view too: Elegoo Saturn and Mars, Anycubic Photon, Prusa SL1 and Formlabs. The full model list is in the documentation on GitHub.

How do I turn on the side panel with cameras?

In the window and bar settings, turn on the edge panel, choose the display and side of the screen, then pin it. Camera availability depends on the printer.

Does Telegram work when the computer is off?

No. The bridge between your printers and Telegram is a computer running Gantry with a network connection.

Let them print.
You keep making.
