Basic or Modern?
Select the card template in Settings → Appearance. Basic keeps the familiar layout; Modern emphasises the file, progress, finish time and filament. Changing the template changes presentation, not printer data.
You can reduce cards to the readings you need. Web appearance follows the app by default; a browser-specific preference can override it.
Gantry CLI
Choose Gantry CLI in Settings → Appearance → Template. This terminal-inspired interface uses monospaced text, rectangular cards, a coral accent and character-based progress bars. It does not launch a shell or execute system commands.
A wide window displays active printers in up to two columns. Below 980 logical pixels it uses one column; ready and offline printers share one full-width bordered panel. The header shows actual fleet status, recorded recent prints and working module shortcuts.
Use 1 or 2 columns in the menu bar/tray panel header. The choice is saved; panel width adapts to the layout and available screen space.
The topbar has its own compact baseline: 100% is 520 logical pixels wide with two columns or 380 with one. The full window retains the proposal’s proportions.
The topbar uses a compact header. Card scaling applies to content and panel width; the available range is 50–150%. The minimum is 50%; at 75% the panel can be reduced further.
AMS/HT/CFS/MMU/EXT readings still use telemetry and the active Spoolbase or Spoolman inventory. EXT hiding and the filename, progress, temperature, filament and gram visibility preferences remain effective. Clicking a slot opens the existing roll assignment; printer menus retain their tools. An unknown measurement is —, never 0%. Offline cards hide stale readings; paused jobs do not display a finish time.
Gantry CLI supports light and dark appearance and the web dashboard. It is a visual template rather than a separate command-line application. The field at the bottom of the desktop app supports 25 commands: printer state and details, history, spool search, modules, appearance, pause, resume and lights. Type help; ↑/↓ browses history and Tab suggests completions. See the full command reference. The web dashboard provides shortcut buttons. Basic and Modern remain available.
Hide EXT
Open Edit printer and clear Show external spool (EXT). The same option is in Details → Filaments / AMS.
This is per printer and affects all of its external sources. It does not disable feeding, delete rolls or change AMS/HT mapping.
Edge dock, header and lighting
In Settings → Windows & strip, enable Expand the strip only after clicking to prevent accidental hover expansion. Hover remains the default. Pinning keeps the strip expanded.
Header icons have refined spacing and first-click handling in inactive windows. The header light button switches lighting on or off across connected printers with a supported LED command.
The new AMS / Filaments view also has an EXT switch. Hiding is respected in both the app and the web dashboard and does not shift AMS/HT roll assignments.
Window, AMS and edge dock
Full desktop mode has a navigation rail with modules in the main content area. In AMS / Filaments, select a printer and colour slot to see its details or assign a roll. Windows and strip settings offer click-to-expand instead of hover expansion; pinned strips remain expanded. The header bulb controls lighting across supported connected printers.
Visibility and readability
Checked card-content options show their readings; unchecked options hide them. Changes apply without closing settings and persist when reopened. Field, hint and checkbox contrast has been increased.
Printer order in the edge dock
Hold a printer picture or row for 2 seconds. The selected tile gains an outline, the other tiles dim, and arrows plus Done appear at the top. Drag the tile up or down; a line marks the drop position. You can also use the arrow buttons. Choose Done to exit.
Each move saves the order, which survives a restart. It applies only to the edge dock; the main fleet list keeps its own order. Hidden and filtered printers retain their saved positions. Custom order takes precedence over automatically placing cameras first. Camera feeds stay connected while reordering.
Settings layout
Template, appearance and transparency use compact dropdowns. Buttons have consistent height and longer labels wrap. When a group of fields and buttons is too wide, its following controls move onto the next row. Explanatory text is not shortened with an ellipsis.
